Information and reservations

How to make the reservation?

You can make your pre-reservations by phone, e-mail or, preferably, through the web form, in order to have everything in writing. Once you receive our confirmation that the accommodation is available during the dates you have requested, if you wish to confirm the reservation, you will have to pay a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay within a maximum period of 2 days, after this period the dates are unblocked.

The cost of the bank transfer is paid by the client, and can never be deducted from the cost of the rental.

Once the reservation has been reviewed and payment has been received from the client, an e-mail confirming the reservation / proof of payment is sent. The reservation is considered confirmed by the property once the reservation confirmation email / proof of payment has been sent and in no casewill it be considered confirmed before.

In the event that there is any irregularity in the reservation and it is not accepted by the property and in the event that the client has made a payment, the amount delivered in advance will be fully refunded.

Can I change the date of my reservation?

In case of modifying the reservation dates for others, an attempt will be made to change the aforementioned reservation as long as the house is available for the new dates, and adapting to the prices of the time.

If the property was already reserved during the new dates requested, cancellation fees will be applied.

Input and output

What is the check-in time?

The entry time slot is between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

What is the departure time?

The departure time is until 12:00. If no one has to enter the same day, the departure time can be agreed with the property

Is check-in and check-out flexible?

If you plan to arrive before 4:00 p.m. or leave after 12:00 p.m., please contact the property to check availability and conditions.

Number of people and capacity of the house

How many people fit in Mas Carpi ?

The capacity of Mas Carpi is 9 people. It has three double rooms with the possibility of an extra bed in each one.

It will be necessary to detail exactly the number of adults, children and children under 2 years of age that will stay in the house during the days of stay agreed at the time of formalizing the reservation.

What do I have to do if more people come than agreed in the reservation document?

If the number of people agreed in the reservation document increases, the property must be notified immediately in order to authorize it, update the reservation and the insurance, and if necessary, increase the price proportionally.

Mas Carpi may prevent entry to the accommodation in case of exceeding the number allowed. If it is detected that during the stay there is a higher number of people than authorized, the reservation will be automatically canceled and the house can be evacuated.

What registration data do we have to provide?

It is mandatory, by law, to register housed people over the age of 14 and as stated in Royal Decree 933/2021, of October 26, and agreement of the Security Board of Catalonia of November 5, 2021, on the obligation to register and notify the Police of the Generalitat – Mossos d’Esquadra of the people staying in accommodation establishments located in Catalonia. It is mandatory to register and report the people staying.

We need the full name, date of birth, ID or passport number and nationality of EACH person, over 14 years of age, staying at the home.

In order to expedite the entry, we would appreciate it if you check -in online through the link that will come to you by email, otherwise, you must fill it out on arrival at the house.

Accommodation: equipment and facilities

What will we find in the house?

Mas Carpi has the necessary equipment for the people who occupy it. If at the time of arrival you notice that something is missing, you have to notify the property.

Our house is for full rental, that is, we rent the entire house. You need to bring all the food and personal hygiene products.

The house is equipped with appliances such as: gas hob, oven, microwave, combi fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and TV, as well as small appliances: toaster, “miniquick”, juicer, Italian and Nespresso coffee maker and a hair dryer . The kitchen has all the cooking utensils such as pots, pans, etc. and to serve food there are crockery, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, among others.

It has a minimum cleaning kit necessary to start the stay (garbage bags, matches, dishwasher soap and tablets, cloth, toilet paper, hand soap…).

Mas Carpi has Wi-Fi and aerothermal heating and air conditioning. It also has a fireplace, barbecue and bathroom area.

It is not allowed to remove utensils, bedding, blankets, etc. of the establishment. Bath towels are for this use, in no case will they be used as pool towels.

Are there high chairs or cots?

Mas Carpi has a cot and a high chair for children under 2 years of age. Its installation will be free.

*Remember to notify us at the time of making the reservation to have it ready on arrival.

Will we have wood for the fireplace and the barbecue?

Yes, there is availability of firewood for both the barbecue and the fireplace, as well as firewood wool lighters. The amount provided will be the amount necessary for the stay and will vary depending on whether it is winter or summer.

We also have the necessary utensils both for the home and for cooking on the barbecue (tongs, grills, paella…).

Companion animals and pets

Can we bring our animals?

Pets of any kind are not allowed on the property.

Guide dogs are accepted upon presentation of the corresponding accreditation certificate.

Visits during the stay and celebrations

Can we bring guests during the day?

Yes. You will have to notify the property if you have a visit from a friend or relative who comes alone to spend the day.

Only the number of people indicated on the booking confirmation is entitled to occupy the accommodation and facilities.

In case of any breach of the aforementioned obligations, the owner at his own discretion has the right to ask the client to vacate the establishment and the client will not be entitled to any compensation.

Our priority is the comfort of the guests staying while maintaining the different capacities, therefore, at the property’s discretion, €15 per visitor per day can be charged. Children under two years free.

Is stag or hen parties allowed?

No, in the house it is forbidden to hold bachelor parties.

Can you have parties?

No. No. “Disco-type” parties are not allowed, nor are external music devices (including loudspeakers) allowed in the house, It is not allowed to place speakers or play music outside. It is very important that this point is respected since the accommodation does not have legal authorization to do them and a celebration of these would lead to immediate eviction.

Cancellation policy

What happens if we have to cancel the reservation?

If once the reservation is confirmed and the down payment is made, the client decides to cancel it, Mas Carpi , as cancellation expenses, will retain:

  • 50% of the down payment, when the cancellation of the reservation is made between 60 and 30 days before the date of entry into the accommodation.
  • 100% of the down payment, when the cancellation is made less than 30 days in advance.
  • Not showing up at the house or not canceling with a minimum of 48 hours in advance, implies having to pay 100% of the total amount of the stay.
What happens if I leave the house before the day of departure?

In case of abandonment of the house for any circumstance beyond the control of the property in advance of the time agreed between the two parties, the total time agreed for the stay will be charged.

How to make the payment of the amount of the stay?

The client has the obligation to pay at the time of formalizing the entry into the house. The total amount of the reservation will be paid in cash minus the amount already delivered as a down payment. It is also possible to make a bank transfer 3 working days before entering the house. Filing a claim does not exempt you from this payment.

At this very moment of entering the house, the rental contract will be signed, which will also serve as proof of payment.

The prices already include the corresponding taxes, as well as the tourist tax of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

When do we have to deliver the deposit and when does it come back?

The deposit to deposit, also at the time of arrival at the house, is €400 in cash; This deposit will be returned within a maximum period of 4 days from the date of departure, after checking the correct state of the accommodation. This deposit will be returned via bank transfer to the account number provided.

In case of damage – leaving the house dirty, not throwing out the garbage, throwing cigarette butts on the floor of the house or garden, throwing objects into the pool or misusing it, and any other misuse of the house that represents additional cleaning hours – the property reserves the right to withhold the relevant amount to cover the cost of the damage caused or extra cleaning hours. In case of damages greater than the mentioned amount, the pertinent legal actions will be taken.

Rules of use

Cleaning and maintenance of the house

The client who signs the entry form is responsible for the correct behavior of all the people who will also stay in the house. If this person or any of the companions do not behave appropriately and responsibly, the owner is authorized to ask the client and its companions to leave the establishment immediately without the client being entitled to any type of compensation. (Article 211.5 of Decree 75/2020 of Tourism of Catalonia)

In the event of any damage, you must notify the property, always before leaving the establishment, to avoid misunderstandings.

The client receives the house in optimal conditions of neatness and order , as well as the terrace and garden with its furniture and barbecue, and is obliged to keep them cared for. The client must respect the furniture and facilities of the house. We want all our guests, just like you, to find the house in optimal cleaning and operating conditions Mas Carpi offers an additional cleaning for stays of 7 days or more.

The introduction of furniture, sound equipment, karaokes or similar in the house is not allowed, as is the carrying out of any type of work. It is also not allowed to change furniture, beds, etc. , from the location in which they are found.

The use of the house or its landscape environment for any type of activity other than the one agreed is not allowed. This includes commercial and audiovisual use of images of the house. Activities and behaviors contrary to hygiene, normal coexistence or that violate public order may not be carried out either.

You cannot go down to the basement of the kitchen without the presence of the address of the house.

In order to preserve the clean and healthy environment in the house, and out of respect for other clients, smoking is not allowed inside the house. Yes, smoking is allowed outside, in the garden and on the terrace. We ask that you be careful and do not throw cigarette remains on the ground to avoid forest fires, especially in summer.

Do not leave garbage in the house,in the garden or in front of the front door. There is a space set up inside the farm and another garbage area specially organized for selective garbage (glass, paper, plastic…) on the access road to Mas Carpi .

The consumption of water, electricity and heating are included in the total price of the stay and, therefore, the use of devices that alter the expected consumption is not allowed.

Recommendations in the pool area

The pool is for private and exclusive use of Carpi guests .

It does not have a lifeguard or lifeguard service, so the use of the pool area will be carried out under the sole responsibility of its users, therefore, it is the responsibility of the parents to supervise the children both during bathing hours and outside of these. The property is not responsible for possible accidents or physical damage.

To avoid damage, cuts and other types of injuries, we recommend:

  • Do not introduce glass objects or any sharp material into the pool area;
  • avoid racing and always wear good shoes around the pool and the rest of the house;
  • avoid jumping headlong or diving, rough games or any physical activity that endangers the safety of the user and/or other users;
  • monitor the depths of the pools.

In order to do the correct maintenance of the house, and check the conditions of the pool, the management of the house may enter the farm at any time. Any of the guests will be notified (by phone, WhatsApp or email).

Precautions in the barbecue area

Fire must always be under the supervision of an adult, any misuse could cause irreparable damage since the risk of fire is very high.

You have to let the embers go out, slowly.

Collect the ashes in the metal bucket provided. Do not throw them in the field.

Leave the barbecue area as you found it.

How do we have to use the fireplace?

The fireplace in the dining room is not a barbecue. Please don’t cook in it There is the barbecue to cook outside.

When lighting the fireplace, the door must be left ajar so that it can burn better. Once there is a flame, it has to be closed, so that a good combustion can take place.

Observations and precautions

    Keep in mind that you are staying in an AGROTURISMO rural house, rehabilitated in 2022 preserving many of the original elements and the environment, which makes it have a specific orography. Therefore, you will have to be careful of slips and falls due to unevenness and stairs.

    Despite the fact that we have tried to minimize the architectural barriers, due to the characteristics of the rehabilitated farmhouse, they have not been completely eliminated, although we have achieved accessible accommodation.

    It must be taken into account that you are in a rural and natural environment, with all its advantages, but with some drawbacks. The Mas Carpi sustainable energy self-sufficiency project may entail some limitations in the electricity, water and telephone supplies with limitations on coverage and internet speed…

    For the good of the environment, we ask that you make rational use of water, electricity and heating, and that you always close the front door and windows, especially when leaving, just as you would at home.

    The breakdown or breakage of any device that is part of the accommodation must be reported immediately in order to notify the appropriate technical service. Non-assistance by this technical service will not be grounds for any type of compensation.

    At your disposal you have tourist, cultural and nature information about the area. We will also guide you on visits and excursions to different places of interest. Likewise, we provide you with a list of telephone numbers of interest and emergency.

    The rural house Mas Carpi is advertised on various web pages and rural tourism portals. The prevailing prices are those that you will find in our reservation document, which will be sent to you via email or WhatsApp.

    The property will appreciate any suggestion that you can offer us in order to make future stays more pleasant.
